The German Government is now seeking industry cooperation to help them develop a blockchain technology strategy by the end of this year.  The German economy is the strongest in Europe and is built around manufacturing, which includes machine building, automobiles, electrical engineering and electronics, chemicals, and food processing. German industry has a long reputation for producing high quality products in a lean environment.

Blockchain technologies especially in the supply chain could increase productivity, improving product availability, whilst reducing costs. The introduction of smart contracts could also help to reduce or eliminate much of the documentation involved in the modern supply chain. Blockchain is one of the most interesting technologies on the planet today. ( Blockchain )

The supply chain of tomorrow is already here today, blockchain technologies are making this possible. Blockchain is built around distributed, decentralized, ledger databases, which can stretch across different organization and countries. Blockchain technologies could be used in conjunction with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)  and Trade Compliance Systems (TCS) . Technology is designed to enhance your commercial operations. (  Zlios Technology  )

There are companies all around the world, which are developing blockchain systems to support all types of industries including engineering, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and retail organizations.

On a regional level, the European Parliament recently requested that blockchain should be adopted in trade and business. Moreover, seven EU member nations – France, Italy, Spain, Malta, Cyprus, Portugal and Spain were asked to participate. Their goal was to introduce blockchain technologies into government operations and public services, but this blockchain concept isn’t just located in Europe other countries around the world are building their own blockchain networks.

Singapore has numerous blockchain projects, one of them is MVL Chain, which uses blockchain technologies to collect vehicle ecosystems data, which is later used in vehicle maintenance. But this ecosystem data can also store data from other sources including car rental operations. The entire lifecycle of a car and its usage regardless of who produces it, owns it, drives it and maintains it can be monitored. Blockchain is a network enabler as it has the ability to link different silos together into a secure network, which is virtually un-hackable.

Blockchain technologies will transform global business and many of the end users, the consumers, clients etc will see the benefits, but not know how those benefits were generated. Blockchain technologies will help to streamline manufacturing, agriculture engineering and commercial operations and reduce unnecessary waste around the world. But one of the biggest blockchain beneficiaries will be logistics operations. ( Zlios Logistics )
